FILES, MADE SIMPLE

About TypeShift.

Practical tools for everyday files.

One task. One focused page.

TypeShift is an independent collection of image, PDF, document and everyday file tools. It is designed around clear controls, readable results and explicit download choices.

Useful features, clear limits.

Each tool explains what it can do, where processing happens and what to check before sharing the result. File conversion cannot preserve every layout or convert every format. No tool claims guaranteed safety or flawless results.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions, answered.

Do I need an account?

No. Open a tool, choose your file and prepare the result. There is no account or paid checkout in these tool pages.

Do my files leave my device?

Image editing, batch image tools, collage, PDF editing, merging, splitting, rotation, numbering, watermarking, page extraction and checksums run in your browser. File conversion and Word DOCX export send the selected content to the server for processing. Image to URL uploads an image only when you click Create link; anyone with that link can view it.

Which formats can I convert?

Use the From / To selector to see supported combinations. Image conversion includes JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, TIFF, GIF, AVIF and ICO. PDF, DOCX and UTF-8 TXT have specific output options; any file cannot become every format.

What are the file limits?

Most tools accept up to 30 MB. PDF tools support up to 60 pages. Images support up to 20 million pixels. Batch and collage tools also have combined limits shown on their pages.

Will my original file change?

No. Save file creates a new output. Keep your original, review the result and download before leaving the page. Browser-generated save links are temporary.

Your file. Your next step.

Choosing a tool transfers your file locally. Server conversion or public sharing uploads only when you start that action. Opening another tool leaves this page; save any existing edits first.
