Does my image get uploaded?
No. Recognition runs on your device. The first run downloads the OCR engine and your selected language models; the image itself stays in your browser.
Which languages and images are supported?
Choose English, Arabic or both. Use a clear PNG, JPG, WebP, BMP, GIF or AVIF image up to 15 MB and 12 million pixels. Animated images use a still frame. Handwriting, complex tables and blurry photographs may be inaccurate.
Can I correct the result?
Yes. The extracted text is editable. Review names, numbers and punctuation before copying or downloading. OCR is not guaranteed to reproduce every character.
Can I open the text in the reader?
Use Read this text after recognition. Text transfers locally and can be displayed with larger type and adjustable spacing.
