How do I convert PNG to SVG?
Choose a PNG file in the converter, keep SVG selected and press Convert. Download the result when processing finishes.
What should I know about this conversion?
PDF output includes image frames, up to 20 frames. Other image outputs use the first frame only; animation is not preserved. JPG, BMP and GIF flatten transparency onto white. GIF uses up to 256 colours. ICO creates square icons up to 256 pixels. PNG, WebP, TIFF and AVIF can preserve transparency.
How does automatic format detection work?
TypeShift checks file signatures and displays the detected input format. You choose the output; the site does not guess your intention. The processing tool validates the actual file again.
Why are some output formats unavailable?
Only formats supported by all selected inputs are shown. Split mixed file types into separate jobs if you need different outputs.
What kind of SVG will I get?
The file converter preserves the image inside a safe SVG container. Image to SVG also offers vector-path tracing for logos and flat artwork.
Can I drag a file anywhere?
